This is a comic panel I drew. Not sure if I'll make it the splash page or not. Still have a lot of pages to draw yet. Lettering is always a challenge, but I'm up for it. I'd like to draw 3 pages a month. Slow and steady! Everything by hand, no computers.

Practice session with the brush and ink I have been studying the work of Pascal Mezzo, Justin Green, Charles Burns, Frank Miller, Joe Ollmann and Joe Sinnott. The Martin ink is really nice to work with. Just bought Love in Vain by Mezzo and J.M. Dupont. Great to practice from.

I pick up my wife's coffee at 5:00 AM so she has it on her drive to work. Dutch Bros is an Oregon company known for delicious coffee and for giving back to the community. Our local stand is staffed by some of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. They always leave me with a smile. Some people complain about millennials, but these kids go to school, often work several jobs and are still smiling and meeting life's challenges. They make the future look bright. I think they are great!
